KIDS OF ALL AGES ARE INVITED TO ROCK THE VOTE
AT ADVENTURE AQUARIUM THIS ELECTION DAY!
They may not be old enough to vote at their local polling locations during this year's much publicized Presidential Election, but kids of all ages are cordially invited to Rock the Vote at Adventure Aquarium on the Camden Waterfront this Election Day!
On Tuesday, November 4, Adventure Aquarium will set up mock Presidential polling stations, so that kids of all ages can cast their votes for one of the two 2008 Presidential candidates. Each child to vote will receive a free gift, as well as a sticker that reads, "I Voted Today at Adventure Aquarium!" The Aquarium's hippo Mascot, Belle, will also be on-hand to greet voters with handshakes and hugs! At the end of the day, all of the mock votes will be tallied and the winning results will be posted on the Aquarium's website.
"Fascinatingly, in the four years since Adventure Aquarium began hosting these mock voting events, the kids votes actually reflect the official voting results," said Kim Walker, Public Relations Manager. "Will the kids get it right again this time? Log on to www.AdventureAquairum.com on November 5th to find out!"
This is a family-friendly event that also emphasizes the importance of civic responsibility. So, gather the family and come on out to cast your vote for the 2008 Presidential Election at Adventure Aquarium!
