This Mother's Day, NBC 10 Philadelphia and Adventure Aquarium have pulled out all the stops to make your Mother's Day truly unforgettable! On Sunday, May 10, 2009, come on out to NBC 10 Day at Adventure Aquarium on the Camden Waterfront, where all day, admission tickets will be just $10.00 - a substantial savings. Members of the NBC 10 news team will also be on-hand to greet guests and sign autographs from 10AM to 1PM and all guests will have a chance to be on NBC 10! We'll even hand out complimentary Mother's Day flowers to moms (while supplies last).
NBC 10 Day is a great opportunity to bring the family together for a trip to Adventure Aquarium, a true waterfront treasure that features over 8,400 animals and nearly 2,000,000 gallons of water. Guests can roll up their sleeves to actually touch sharks in our Touch-A-Shark exhibit, presented by Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey, or can walk through a 40-ft suspended Shark Tunnel that offers stunning views into our 560,000-gallon Shark Realm exhibit. Visit with Button and Genny, two hippos that call our West African River Experience exhibit home, or hand-feed birds at Feather Ridge, a free-flight aviary home to over 20 species of exquisite African birds. You can also check out our penguin and seal exhibits, get up close and personal
to touch sea life like sea stars and sea cucumbers, shrimp, jellyfish, and freshwater sting rays - or even swim with sharks!
