Visiting Adventure Aquarium with your group of 20 and up is a great way to bring education to life. Dive in to learn more about marine environments and the aquatic creatures that inhabit them! Adventure Aquarium features one-of-a-kind exhibits with thousands of aquatic species exhibited throughout two million gallons of water. As an accredited member of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA), Adventure Aquarium is held to the absolute highest standards in animal care and exhibition.

Field trips are self-guided and generally take about 2 - 2 1/2 hours. Allow extra time if you book lunch space or any additional programs.

*Group rates apply only to parties of 20 or more paying guests on weekdays only. Discounted group admission may not be available on select blackout dates.

School Groups Pricing:

  • 2024-2025 Off-peak (Sept-March): $11.99 - $24.99; Save up to 39% per student ticket

  • 2025 Peak (April-June): $12.99 - $25.99; Save up to 39% per student ticket

**All groups must have 2 adult chaperones (18 years or older) for every 10 children. We offer 1 complimentary chaperone ticket for every 10 children.

 

Adventure Aquarium welcomes campers of all ages to visit with more than 15,000 aquatic species throughout two million gallons of water. Encounter incredible creatures up close, visit Button and Genny, the only hippos in the world to be exhibited at an aquarium, and see the largest collection of sharks in the Northeast.

Scout Pricing:

  • 2024: $16.99 - $26.99; Save up to 35% per scout ticket

  • Scout Weekends: Visit during one of our Scout Weekends for a discounted rate and receive a FREE Patch per scout!

Enhance Your Visit

  • Lunchroom Tables Reservation: $20 per table (each table seats a 12-16 people)

  • Boxed lunches and meal vouchers are available for groups! Ask a Group Sales Representative about your dining options.

  • 3D Film: $3 per person

  • Educational Programs (Only available on weekdays September-June):
    • Classrooms (33-person maximum): $125 per class
    • Top-of-Ocean Realm Tour (20-person maximum): $110 per tour
    • Behind-the-Scenes Tour (20-person maximum): $175 per tour
    • Water Quality Lab (22-person maximum): $200 per lab
    • Auditorium Programs (125 Person maximum): $375-$625 (cost varies per group size)

Ready To Book?

Follow these easy steps to book your group trip.

  1. Select a date that you would like to bring your group to Adventure Aquarium. It is helpful to have a few back up dates in mind in case of sellouts.

  2. Call the Group Sales office at 844-474-FISH (3474) or fill out a Field Trip Request Form and someone will get back to you in 1-2 business days.

  3. Pay a 50% deposit to hold your date and time. Payment can be made by check or credit card. Purchase orders for the full amount can be accepted in lieu of a deposit.

  4. Final headcount and payment or purchase order are due no later than 14 days prior to your scheduled trip. No group sales payments can be accepted at the door. Any additional tickets not on your reservation will charged general admission pricing.

Advance reservations are required, and must be booked two business days in advance. Groups that arrive without a reservation will be charged a "day of" price. Please plan ahead and call the Group Sales Department at 844-474-FISH (3474) to schedule your visit.
