Adventure Aquarium Recognizes Healthcare Heroes With Special Offer

CAMDEN, N.J. — Adventure Aquarium announces a National Hospital Week discount for all healthcare heroes when they visit the aquarium weekdays now through May 28.

Healthcare workers are invited to visit Adventure Aquarium weekdays through May 28 for a discounted price of $21.99 during its “Healthcare Heroes Pay Like a Kid, Play Like a Kid” offer. This offer gives healthcare workers the opportunity to visit the aquarium for the price of a child’s general admission ticket, a $10 savings.

“It has been a challenging year for all of us, especially for those who have been fighting on the front lines of the pandemic,” said Molly Deese, Adventure Aquarium’s Executive Director. “We want to recognize these heroes for all they have done in the fight against COVID-19 in our community, and give them the chance to have fun exploring life underwater with their family and friends.”

Eligibility extends beyond just hospitals, including: physicians, nurses, dental professionals, laboratory technicians, pharmacists, hospital volunteers and administrative staff. Proof of employment is required.

The promotion runs weekdays now through May 28, 2021. Healthcare workers can claim this offer by visiting the Aquarium's website. Advance tickets must be purchased online. Reservations are required for all guests.

Bonus! Adventure Aquarium’s African penguin named after Thomas Jefferson University Hospital is now on exhibit! The Aquarium’s penguin naming contest that took place in January allowed social media followers to select a name to pay tribute to our local frontline heroes fighting COVID-19. “Jefferson” (no. 56) can be found at the Aquarium’s Penguin Park exhibit.
